Re-downloading a purchase

Last updated 1 June 2026

You can re-download anything you've bought on BuyMyTune at any time — there are no download limits.

How to re-download

1. Sign in to BuyMyTune with the account you used to purchase.

2. Go to your Downloads Library (click your profile icon → Downloads Library, or visit /downloads).

3. Find the release you want and click the Download button.

4. The download starts immediately. Depending on your browser and operating system, you'll find the file in your Downloads folder.

File formats

Downloads are provided in the format the artist originally uploaded. Most releases are MP3 or WAV. The file details are shown on the release page before you buy.

If the file seems wrong or won't play

See My download file seems corrupted or incomplete.

Common questions

I deleted the file — can I download it again? Yes. Sign in and go to your Downloads Library. Every purchase is permanently accessible.

Do I need to be online to access my music after downloading? Once you've downloaded the file, it's yours locally and you can play it offline. But you do need to be signed in to BuyMyTune to initiate a new download.

I'm trying to download but it's just opening in my browser, not saving. Right-click (or long-press on mobile) the download button and choose "Save link as…" to save the file to your device.
