Everything included

Everything you need to sell

Included. No add-ons. No upgrades required.

Upload in minutes

Drag in your WAV, FLAC, or MP3 masters. Add artwork, set your price, write a description, and your release page is live the moment you publish.

You set the price

Paid releases have a £0.99 minimum, but you can also offer free downloads or pay-what-you-want pricing. Price your work however you see fit, and change it any time.

Sales history and analytics

See every purchase, track earnings over time, and understand which releases fans actually buy. No dark-pattern dashboards.

Secure file delivery

Uploaded masters are kept private. Fans receive short-lived, signed download links that cannot be shared or crawled. Preview clips are separate from full-quality files.

Artist page you can customise

Set your banner colour, hero image, tagline, and social links. Your page at buymytune.co.uk/yourname is yours.

Payout to your bank

Earnings are settled to your nominated bank account. No points, no vouchers, no store credit, just real money.

Security and storage

Your masters are safe

Full-quality audio files are stored privately in Google Cloud Storage. They are never publicly accessible, not by URL guessing, not by crawlers. Every download link is individually signed, time-limited, and tied to a verified purchase.

Preview clips, the short excerpts fans hear before buying, are separate files, capped at 90 seconds. Your masters are only delivered to buyers who have completed payment.

Uploaded files are validated by content, not just file extension, to prevent misuse. Your storage namespace is isolated from other artists on the platform.

FAQ

Common questions

When do I receive payment?
Funds are held briefly to allow for any chargebacks, then released to your payout balance. You can request a transfer to your bank at any time once your balance reaches the £20 minimum threshold.
What audio formats are supported?
We accept WAV, FLAC, MP3, M4A, and OGG for masters. Preview clips are generated from your uploaded file. We recommend lossless formats (WAV or FLAC) for best quality delivery to buyers.
Can I change my price after publishing?
Yes. Price changes apply to new purchases only. Fans who already bought your release are unaffected.
What happens if a buyer requests a refund?
Refund requests are handled case by case. If a PayPal dispute is raised and upheld, the corresponding amount is reversed from your earnings balance. We will always notify you before any deduction.
Can I remove a release?
Yes. You can unpublish or delete a release from your dashboard at any time. Buyers who have already purchased it retain access to their download. See our terms for the full detail.
Do I need a record label or distributor?
No. BuyMyTune is designed for independent artists selling directly. You just need to own or control the rights to what you upload.
Is there a subscription fee?
No. There are no monthly fees. We charge a platform fee only on completed sales. See the How Money Works page for the exact breakdown.
What types of releases can I sell?
At launch you can sell digital Singles (1 track), EPs (2 to 6 tracks), and Albums (7+ tracks). Physical release tools are planned for a future update.
