I bought music but it's not showing in my account

Last updated 1 June 2026

There are a few common reasons a purchase might not appear in your Downloads Library.

1. You used a different account or email

This is the most common cause. BuyMyTune uses the email address you signed up with to match purchases to accounts. If you have multiple email addresses or accidentally created two accounts, the purchase may be on the other one.

Try this: Sign out and sign back in with a different email or method (e.g. try Google Sign-In if you normally use email/password, or vice versa).

2. You checked out as a guest

If you didn't create an account at checkout, your purchase is attached to your email address but not a logged-in account. Check your email for a confirmation with download links.

You can then create an account with the same email address and we'll link the purchase to it. If that hasn't happened automatically, contact us.

3. The payment is still being processed

PayPal payments can occasionally take a short time to confirm. Wait a few minutes and refresh your Downloads Library.

4. The payment failed but you think it went through

Check your PayPal account or bank statement. If you see a charge but no download access, contact us with the transaction reference — we'll sort it out.

Common questions

I was charged but there's nothing in my library. This is rare but can happen if there's a payment processing delay. Wait 10 minutes, then contact us if still not resolved. Always keep your PayPal transaction ID handy.

I bought a release that the artist has since removed. You still have access. Purchases remain in your Downloads Library even if the artist unpublishes the release.
