Changing your bank or payout details

You can update your payment details at any time from the Artist Dashboard.

How to update your bank details

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings.

2. Scroll to the Payout details section.

3. Enter your new bank account number and sort code.

4. Click Save changes.

Changes take effect for the next payout request — they don't affect any payouts already in progress.

Important notes

  • UK bank accounts only — BuyMyTune currently pays out to UK bank accounts in GBP.
  • Name on account — make sure the name on the bank account matches your identity on file, or your payout may be delayed.
  • Pending payouts — if you have a payout request being processed, updating your details won't change where that specific payout goes. Contact us immediately if you need to redirect a payout already in flight.

Common questions

I entered incorrect bank details and now a payout is stuck. Contact us as soon as possible with your order reference and we'll do our best to resolve it.

Do I need to verify my identity before receiving payouts? We may ask for identity verification (KYC) as part of payment processing compliance. You'll be notified in your dashboard if this is required.

I'm not based in the UK — can I still get paid? UK bank accounts are the only option right now. If you're outside the UK and selling on the platform, contact us and we'll let you know when more options are available.
